Welcome to the official CQBC website.
We're hoping this will become the one-stop information hub for all your local Blokart Sailing news and information within the central queensland region.
Come and try sailing the amazing Blokart on Northern end of Bucasia Beach.
(Access the beach via Nautilus Park, off Starboard Cct.)
The club has single & 2-seater Blokarts available for interested people to trial sailing, but it's advisable to contact us beforehand to ensure their availability. Also, please wear closed-in footwear for safety. Helmets are mandatory, & can be supplied if you don't have your own.
People of all ages and abilities can sail Blokarts, & there is no cost for a trial sail!
The Blokart Club sails most Sundays that the tide is out during the day.
Check Central Queensland Blokart Club Facebook page.
Just introduce yourself to any Blokarter standing still, they would be glad to explain what Blokarting is about.

Central Queensland Blokart Club was founded in 1995 by a group of community members who recognized the need for a local organization dedicated to furthering the sport of land yachting. Since then, we have grown into a thriving nonprofit, meeting for regular social sailing events on local beaches as well as joining with other clubs for regattas, locally or elsewhere.
Our members include people of all ages who share a passion for sailing on land!
Our leaders particularly enjoy sharing their knowledge with new members and junior sailors.
We are proud to partner with local government organisations, and with blokarting clubs nationally and internationally, in striving to provide a fun, healthy and affordable sport accessible to people of all ages and abilities.
